Effective August 1, 2026
Privacy Policy
Tiny Timer is designed for parents, with device-local routines and photos and clear controls over parent account data.
1. Who we are
Tiny Timer is operated by THE FLOCO COMPANY, LLC (“Tiny Timer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Tiny Timer mobile application, our support pages, or contact us.
Questions may be sent to tinytimer.support@gmail.com.
2. Who the app is for
Tiny Timer is a parent-directed tool. Parent or guardian supervision is expected whenever a child views or interacts with a timer. We do not ask children to create accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Please do not enter a child’s full name or other sensitive information into routine names, timer phrases, support messages, or feedback.
3. Information we handle
Parent account information
- First name and email address.
- Authentication, email-verification, and account identifiers.
- Terms acceptance date and version.
- Newsletter preference and the dates it was switched on or off.
Passwords are processed by our authentication provider. We do not receive or view your password in readable form.
Subscription information
We receive subscription identifiers, product and entitlement status, purchase and expiration information, and a support identifier from RevenueCat and the applicable app store. Apple or Google processes payment details; Tiny Timer does not receive your full card or payment-account information.
Information that stays on your device
Saved routines, timer labels and phrases, preferences, recent timer details, and imported photos are stored locally on your device and separated by parent account. Tiny Timer does not upload imported photos or routine content to our servers.
Support and feedback
If you contact us, we receive the email address and content you choose to send. The app may prefill the app version, device platform, and subscription support ID so we can investigate your request.
Notifications and device permissions
Tiny Timer requests photo-library access only when you choose your own reveal photo. Timer completion notifications are scheduled on your device. We do not use photo access to build a contact or advertising profile.
4. How we use information
- Create, authenticate, secure, and maintain your parent account.
- Connect purchases and Premium access to your account.
- Provide account recovery, support, and requested communications.
- Record acceptance of terms and privacy choices.
- Send the newsletter — occasional product news, family tips, or recommendations — if you have asked for it.
- Prevent fraud, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.
Email you receive
Tiny Timer sends two kinds of email, and they are controlled separately.
Service email is necessary to operate your account: email verification, password resets, confirmation of an email change or account deletion, and notices about security, billing, or material changes to this policy. These cannot be switched off while your account exists, because they are how we keep the account secure and keep you informed. They are not marketing.
Newsletter email is optional: occasional product news, family tips, and recommendations. You only receive it if you ask for it. The signup screen offers an unticked box, and creating an account without ticking it means you are not subscribed. You can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time in Account Settings, or use the unsubscribe method included in any newsletter message. We record when you switch the preference on or off so that we can honor your choice.
Unsubscribing takes effect promptly, although a message already queued for delivery may still reach you. It does not affect service email, your Premium access, or your account.
5. Service providers
We use limited service providers to operate Tiny Timer:
- Supabase for parent authentication and account-profile storage.
- RevenueCat for subscription status and entitlement management.
- Apple and, when available, Google for app distribution, purchases, billing, and store-account services.
- Our email provider for support, account emails, and communications.
These providers process information for the purposes described above under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain parent account information while the account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Support correspondence may be retained for recordkeeping and service improvement.
You may delete your account in Account Settings. The deletion flow removes the remote parent account and clears routines and imported photos stored for that account on the device. Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription; subscriptions must be managed separately through the applicable store.
Some limited transaction, security, or legal records may be retained where required or permitted by law. Uninstalling the app generally removes its locally stored data from that device.
7. Your choices
- Update your first name, email, or password in Account Settings.
- Subscribe to or unsubscribe from the newsletter in Account Settings.
- Remove imported photos or reset local app data from Settings.
- Delete your account from Account Settings.
- Manage or cancel Premium through your Apple or Google store account.
- Contact us to ask a privacy question or request assistance.
8. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Tiny Timer and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws from your location.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Tiny Timer changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated policy.
